Research Interests:

Current research involves study of changes in metabolism during the response of a plant cell to abiotic stress. Specifically interested in the induction of enzymes in osmotically (drought) stressed Arabidopsis, a model plant system. Our lab has been working on enzymes responsible for the biosynthesis polyamines, compounds known to be important in several cellular functions including cell division, response to stress and development. The list of publications contains titles of several papers published in our lab.
