What I do
My primary responsibilities include execution of marketing messaging, establishment and implementation of design standards and daily oversight of print and e-mail communications.
I also provide:
• Daily oversight for Office of Communications
• Creative Direction for College-wide communications, image, and identity
• Definition of graphic standards and presentation of a high quality of institutional identity
• Oversight of print and e-communications systems, production and execution
• Establishment of efficient and effective processes for communicating with key constituencies
• Act as senior designer for high-end needs including College magazine

• Director of Virtual Communications for a national telecommunications company
• Director of Corporate Design for a Fortune 500 energy company
• Adjunct professor of Journalism, University of Montana
• Editor of a daily newspaper
• Design and Graphics Editor, illustrator and graphic reporter for daily newspapers
• Full-time artist specializing in public art, illustrations and commissioned artwork
• Art curriculum coordinator and itinerant art teacher in rural Alaska
