Sixth through Eighth Grade Unit:
We're Golden
Abstract: Our overall conceptual idea begins with the "Golden Ratio". We learned about the Ancient Greeks and how they connected the Golden Ratio to their art, architecture, and daily life. We were very surprised to find the many connections between math, technology education, and the arts...for this is what we teach individually at the middle school level. With our new discovery, we realized the potential for many interdisciplinary opportunities such as this one. We could tie in math with both technology and art, for this is what the Golden Ratio taught us.
